Prince Brewing, a microbrewery in the heart of Phnom Penh and a member of Prince Group, raised USD 3,000 in a charity evening held in honour of Cambodia Children’s Fund, for the all-too-important cause of providing education to underprivileged children.
The donations were raised in an art and photography auction held in the microbrewery, together with raffle ticket sales to generous attendees for the chance to win exciting prizes. The attendees were also entertained by a unique art performance from a Ukrainian artist.
All proceeds went to the Cambodian Children’s Fund to directly support quality education for impoverished children.
Lach Savy, Chief Operating Officer of Cambodian Children’s Fund, said: “We appreciate fundraising support by corporate foundations and leading F&B venues to highlight the importance of children’s education, as we believe a generation of educated children has the power to end poverty for generations to come”.
Prince Holding Group, under the leadership of Chairman and philanthropist, Chen Zhi, has a keen focus on human capital development to aid economic growth for the Kingdom. “We believe that it is important for business groups like Prince to partner with public-private stakeholders to drive human capital development and uplift the surrounding communities that we operate in,” said Gabriel Tan, Chief Communications Officer at Prince Holding Group.
